Houston

I'm in Houston this weekend visiting the inlaws. Mostly eating my way through the weekend, but we managed to squeeze in a bit of art as well. This is looking up in part of the Museum of Fine Arts

East Village Street Art

Here are a couple shots from a location in the East Village right next to each other. Very nice work.

Bambi Kino at Bowery Electric!

We had a chance to see Bambi Kino at Bowery Electric in Manhattan on Thursday. Absolutely superb performance and they played 3 sets! 'Little Richard' even showed up. Please click HERE to get more info on Bambi Kino. They are basically an indie super group that is faithfully recreating the sound and songs of the young Beatles from their 1960's Hamburg years.

Manhattan and Brooklyn Street Art

Here are two sites I shot in the past couple of days. Both brightened my mood as I passed by. The face is in SoHo, maybe on Greene St or Wooster. The Brooklyn Bridge fence with Brooklyn brownstones on one side and the Manhattan skyline on the other is just below Cobble Park, in Cobble Hill on Clinton St.
